SUN
The sun is amazing in London at the moment! And the heat is just as good. No one - and I repeat; no one should complain about the weather so don't ever do that... at least if it isn't too cold, that is ;)
I've spent most of the morning doing my shores such as drop the boy off at school, ironing, emptying the dishwasher etc. By lunch time I took a bus up to my friend Sophia to lie sunbathing in her garden and hang out with some other friends there as well. It was really nice! I had brought a packed lunch (the au pairs do that all the time). This time it wasn't some kind of sweaty sandwich but a box of "Midsomer food" :D Swedish herring, new potatoes, egg and sour cream + vegetables. It was delicious and a good get-in-the-mood-before-Midsommar-thingy!
It's eveing now and I haven't got any plans. I'm sitting in front of my laptop trying to find recepies for the formidable beverage Frappuchino <3 from Starbucks. If you haven't tried one yet: DO IT!!
Well, enough about that. I might go and get myself an ice cream from Tesco. I blame the heat ;)

Thorpe Park
Många undrar säkert vad som försiggår här i London under min sista tid. Jag skulle kunna förebrå mig själv för att jag skriver för sällan men låter bli. Mitt motto just nu är: Lev i nuet - Skriv senare eller inte alls ;) Hehe!

Förlåt men jag måste totaldissa Liseberg efter Disneyland m fl.. Det är väl den vanliga "jag-är-trött-på-Sverige-stilen" som sätter in ;)

Nu kan jag lägga England till listan eftersom jag under förrförra helgen besökte något som heter Thorpe Park. Seeegt - men bra ändå!
Nu sitter man här och försöker lära sig lite piano mha av datorn och inte mycket annat händer. Kanske drar iväg en sväng till Islington för en kaffe + lässtund med mera. Just nu ska jag iaf se till att få hemshoppat lite mat åt min värdfamilj. Bara ca 1.5 månader kvar alltså!

Back on track - in many ways
Alright, So I've just had a weeks vacation in my dear home county Sweden. Everything was amazing and about thrice* as good as usual! I didn't want to leave all that to go back to my present home in London but I had to.. My host family and friends have been very kind to me so I'm alright and I'm now up for squeezing the best out of London before I leave on the 24th of July!!
Since I had to stay in for most of the day (today) I didn't care about all rain that poured down on the terassed houses and streets. It was kind of cozy to start my day zapping between different channels eating breakfast. Well I had to leave the kid at school before I did anything else (God forbid)... ;)
It was all made up beforehand but I couldn't resist getting surprised of happiness when I saw that cute face watching me from outside the window. It was Elin, the almighty :D She had come all the way from "Down There" to hang out with me! Touching, I have to say :') We spent most of the day together since she found out she didn't have to get back to work. During lunchtime both of us were being great housewives. I ironed the clean laundry and Elin ended up by the stove cooking a tasty soup for us. Shall I feel ashamed for promising that I(!) would make the food? Well, it was a great treat!
Eventually we had to go and collect the sweet little kid of mine from school. He was SO full of energy and absolutely crazy for most of the afternoon... oh my - I get tired by just thinking of it! Haha, but it was a jolly good time <3
Elin joined my host family for dinner which ment: salmon, potatoes, asparagus, peas and carrots. Apple crumble for desert. Splendid!
As summer and beach 2010 is approaching I'd better put those trainers on! :D
*= thrice is when you tripple something. It's like: "twice" which means something times two.
